Project Activities

At the end of this project, four main results will be generated:

The partners will examine the curricula of the courses in their respective countries to identify learning objectives and learning outcomes where psychosocial support activities can be implemented in the courses. Following the country studies, learning outcomes that reflect common objectives will be identified by aligning the categories of psychosocial support and content design will be developed.

Open

Different activities specific to the identified courses and categories of psychosocial support activities will be prepared. The activities are prepared using the ‘Activity Writing Template’, taking into account the identified ‘Common Course Outcomes’.

A guide with lesson-based activities to help teachers provide post-disaster psychosocial support in the classroom is being prepared. This guide will provide teachers with practical suggestions and applications.
It will enable teachers to create an appropriate environment to reduce the risk of adjustment disorders and to help students normalise their reactions by using positive coping skills. It will also provide appropriate techniques and methods to enhance students’ ability to learn and develop.

A dissemination plan has been developed to share the materials and practices developed in the project with educational institutions, civil society organisations and policy makers. The use of different channels such as events, digital content, etc. will ensure that the project reaches a wide audience.
